Hi, my name is Krystine
I've been involved in volunteer and community-based work since I was young, often showing up for individuals and families who were trying to figure things out without much support. Over time, I saw how much of a difference real advocacy can make, especially for individuals with disabilities and underserved communities. That's what drew me to this field, where I get to help people understand their options, find the right supports, and build more independence.
What is important to me...
People should feel like their voice matters and that they are true partners in the process. They deserve clear communication and support that is aligned with their specific needs and goals.
I am known for...
Being easy to talk to, hardworking, and making people feel supported. I focus on helping families understand their options in a clear, supportive way, so they feel confident and empowered as they move forward.
I really enjoy...
Spending time outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking, and being around animals. I also like working on projects and staying active.
Experience
Before joining NeuroNav, Krystine worked as a Program Supervisor in homeless services, overseeing programs that supported individuals with complex needs including housing instability, mental health challenges, and substance use. Alongside that, she began working as an Independent Facilitator, supporting people as they navigated regional center services and built person-centered plans. That combination of experiences strengthened her ability to advocate effectively, making sure services are not just approved, but actually work in real life.
