Oscar Mendoza
Independent Facilitator

Hi, my name is Oscar

My path here started with the advice of a trusted friend and mentor. They encouraged me to pursue an opportunity at a regional center, recognizing it as a place where I could grow professionally and make a meaningful impact. I took that advice, built a strong foundation supporting individuals within the developmental services system. That experience ultimately led me to NeuroNav, where I now work within the Self-Determination Program, showing up for the individuals and families I support with patience, empathy, and genuine care.

What is important to me...

People deserve to feel heard, respected, and genuinely supported. They should have someone who listens without judgment, communicates clearly, and takes the time to understand their unique needs and goals.

I am known for...

Bringing a sense of calm to any situation, even when things feel overwhelming or uncertain. People would describe me as understanding and empathetic, someone who truly listens and takes the time to learn their unique needs and priorities.

I really enjoy...

Traveling, art, and history. I love visiting new places, experiencing different cultures, and learning about the stories and traditions that shape them. Whether it's exploring museums, historical sites, or simply discovering something new, these experiences help me return to my work feeling refreshed and inspired.
