Hi, my name is Amanda
I've always been drawn to people-focused work, and I've spent most of my career in the mental health and social work field. Over time, working at a few great startups helped my role evolve. A big turning point was being a hiring manager and sitting on interview panels. It really showed me how impactful thoughtful hiring can be. From there, I naturally moved from client-facing work into talent acquisition and HR, and found I love connecting with and retaining great people, just in a different way.
What is important to me...
Clear, honest communication and a high level of responsiveness. People should feel informed, respected, and confident that they can rely on timely updates and follow-through.
I am known for...
Partnering closely with hiring managers, aligning on what "great" looks like, and helping guide decisions when things feel ambiguous or time-sensitive. I also care deeply about the candidate experience, and it's something I prioritize in every part of my work.
I really enjoy...
Drawing, painting, and going on hikes with my family.
Experience
Before joining NeuroNav, Amanda worked in recruiting roles at a couple of healthcare startups, where she learned how to recruit high-quality talent, move quickly in fast-paced environments, and build strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams. That experience also reinforced how much the candidate experience matters, and that's something she still prioritizes today.
