Cynthia Perea
Transition Navigator

Hi, my name is Cynthia

I've always felt a strong pull toward helping people feel truly supported in a world that doesn't always make it easy. That passion naturally guided me into working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. There wasn't one single moment that led me here — it was a series of meaningful experiences and connections that continually reinforced my purpose. Through this work, I've come to deeply value the importance of helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What is important to me...

The individuals and families I work with deserve to feel genuinely supported, respected, and understood. They deserve someone who takes the time to listen, communicates clearly, and honors their values, priorities, and lived experiences.

I am known for...

Showing up with warmth, empathy, and a true commitment to the people I work with. I strive to build strong, trusting relationships where people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing concerns, and being open about their needs, and where they never feel alone in the process.

I really enjoy...

Slowing down and being present. I love spending time with my pup and going on hikes, which is one of my favorite ways to recharge and clear my mind. Being outdoors helps me feel grounded and gives me a chance to reset.

Before joining NeuroNav, Cynthia spent several years working in Applied Behavior Analysis and special education, supporting children and families. In that role, she helped implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and collaborate with families to create meaningful progress in everyday life. That experience continues to shape how she works today, teaching her to meet people where they are, truly listen to their needs, and approach every situation with patience and empathy.
