Kim Schreiber
CEO and Co-Founder

Hi, my name is Kim

My little brother Stephen is my favorite person in the world, and he is autistic. When he was approaching aging out of the school system, I came to realize that disability care in the U.S. is broken and underserves bright young people like him. I started volunteering with Young Life Capernaum, and I saw that all my young friends with disabilities were afraid of what would happen in adulthood as well. That fear was real, and I knew I needed to do something about it. So I went to business school to research solutions, and NeuroNav was born.

What is important to me...

Excellence. People deserve a compassionate heart and the skills and doggedness to remove any barriers to the quality support they need to flourish. That standard drives everything we do at NeuroNav.

I am known for...

Treating the individuals and families I work with the way I treat my own brother — with compassion, empathy, and the determination to solve any problem that stands in the way of their goals. In five years of working in SDP, I have seen every kind of challenge under the sun, and I show up ready to tackle all of them.

I really enjoy...

Rock climbing, playing the cello, and spending time with friends and family, ideally in nature. Something that might surprise people: I took a gap year after college and lived in Yosemite!

Experience

Kim spent two years at Stanford pursuing her MBA and immersing herself in the disability landscape. She lived in four neurodiverse housing communities, interviewed over 300 people with disabilities, family members, service providers, and state leaders, and prototyped a dozen different solutions before launching NeuroNav in 2020. The learnings from those two years, how essential choice and empowerment are in supporting positive outcomes, show up in her work every day as she co-designs solutions with people with disabilities.

Prior to founding NeuroNav, Kim spent three years in Sub-Saharan Africa in executive leadership at Zola Electric, helping to scale clean energy home solutions to unelectrified homes across five countries. She learned how to align a business model with the mission of serving clients and supporting their flourishing.
