Leona Spivey
AR Specialist

Hi, my name is Leona

In college, I started learning more about what really motivates me. It turns out that I absolutely love checking things off a list and building organized systems that make life run smoother. That's what drew me to accounting: the perfect mix of structure, problem-solving, and flexibility. My contact with families may be limited, but I'm proud to do meaningful work I love as part of a team that genuinely cares about people. I want every interaction to feel positive, like you've been heard, valued, and treated with kindness.

What is important to me...

People deserve to feel respected and cared for in every interaction. You're trusting someone to help you with something important, and that means a lot to me.

I am known for...

Being organized, dependable, and kind. I make it a priority to be patient and understanding, and I try to bring a sense of structure and calm to every interaction, making things easier and more efficient for the families I work with.

I really enjoy...

A cozy spot and a good book — reading is one of my favorite ways to relax. I'm also a longtime figure skater, which might surprise people who hear I work in accounting! There's something about being out on the ice that feels freeing and peaceful, and I love the mix of focus and creativity it takes.

Experience

Before joining NeuroNav, Leona worked for several CPA firms and a home health agency, building expertise in tracking payments, managing government funding, and preparing tax returns. Those skills transferred naturally into her role at NeuroNav. Working remotely has also given her the flexibility to homeschool her children and stay actively involved in her kids' everyday life, which has always been one of her biggest priorities.
