Hi, my name is Nina
My path to this work started with my cousin, who has a developmental disability. We grew up together and are very close, and she has inspired me in more ways than I can count. Through her, I found my passion for advocating for people who may need someone in their corner, someone to speak up and make sure they are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. This line of work is where I belong.
What is important to me...
People may be going through things we don't fully know about, and it's my job to make sure they feel supported and to speak up when it's needed.
I am known for...
Showing up. My families know they can count on me and that I'll do what I say I'll do and work hard not to let them down. I bring passion and empathy to every person I work with, and I want each of them to know they are a priority.
I really enjoy...
Spending time with my children and family, hiking, and reading. I grew up ranch-style, so I have a deep love for animals (and I used to barrel race horses when I was younger!).
Experience
Before joining NeuroNav, Nina worked in the children's unit at Far Northern Regional Center, where she helped families navigate early intervention and provided support to those receiving a new diagnosis. Prior to that, she worked directly with individuals with disabilities who experienced crisis behaviors, implementing behavioral techniques through ABA therapy to help them navigate daily life and live as fully as possible. That hands-on, direct care experience remains central to how she shows up for the people she supports today.
