Hi, my name is Owen

I'm passionate about increasing people's quality of life, which is what drew me to this work. During my time in school, I saw firsthand the disparity in care for people with disabilities. I wanted to help where I can and make sure everyone has equitable access to the resources necessary to thrive in life.

What is important to me...

People deserve someone who genuinely cares and treats them like a person. Too often, people can feel like just a number on a caseload, but I want everyone I work with to feel comfortable and truly seen.

I am known for...

Being personable and working my hardest to make sure people receive the services they need. I especially love supporting families who are new to a program. It can feel scary to start something new, and I like being able to reassure them that they're in good hands.

I really enjoy...

Playing board games with friends, watching TV shows and movies with my partner, and reading a good thriller.

Experience

Before joining NeuroNav, Owen conducted research on various health topics at university, working to inform interventions that could help increase quality of life. He also worked as a service coordinator at Westside Regional Center, supporting adults with developmental disabilities. That combination of research and direct service experience gives him a well-rounded understanding of both the evidence behind the work and the regional center side of things.
